Tiger Families,
As a part of our efforts to ensure a safe, organized, and accountable environment at Wellsville Jr./Sr. High School, we require all student drivers to obtain a parking permit in order to park at school during school hours.
We want to share with you the key reasons behind this policy:
1. Safety & Security - permits help school staff quickly identify vehicles and ensure that only approved students are parking on campus.
2. Accountability - each permit is linked to a student driver, promoting responsible behavior and discouraging unsafe or unauthorized parking.
3. Emergency Communication - in case of an incident, the permit information allows us to quickly notify appropriate parties.
4. Responsibility & Life Skills - the permit process encourages students to follow procedures and policies, which are valuable life skills in college, work, and beyond.
When applying for a parking permit, please bring:
● Driver’s License
● License Plate Number
● Make, model, and color of vehicle
● $5 fee, or canned good item for food pantry
Students will be assigned parking spots and will be required to have the parking permit in their windshields during school hours. Permits will be available in the main office beginning August 13th from 8:00-2:00.
