As part of the school’s safety plan Daw Elementary students participated in a Lockdown Drill. This was just a DRILL. The purpose of such safety drills is to help students understand the procedures to follow in the event of an emergency in which they would need to be secured in the school. #wltigertales

This morning a student made an indirect threat on Snapchat in the classroom. Once reported to the principal and resource officer the student was removed immediately removed from the building and will face disciplinary action by the school and juvenile court.
